Pete Harley - Managing Director
Pete has owned STS Ltd since 2012 when he purchased the business from the original owner. Pete started in the industry in 1989 as Yard Foreman for WC Youngman (part of SGB at the time) and worked his way to the position of Regional Director for SGB Hire & Sale, going through the ranks as a Hire Controller, Depot Supervisor, Salesman, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Area Sales & Operations Manager and National Hire & Installation Manager.
Jason Berry - Contracts Manager
(Taskforce) Manager Jason has worked in the access industry for 15 years after many years of working on sites at various levels. Jason worked with Pete at SGB reaching the position of Site Supervisor looking after the scaffolding and decking labour force. Jason has been at STS for 2 years and has been instrumental in the growth of the installation business
Richard Somerville - Hire Desk Manager
Richard educated to degree level, started working for Pete at SGB Hire & Sale in Reading as is internal sales controller and built his experience working across the hire desks of multi product depots before specialising in the SGB Light Access depot at Camberley. Richard has been with STS Ltd since April 2012 and has been instrumental in delivering top quality service as the business has continued to grow.
Simon Carter - Health, Safety & Training Manager
Simon Carter has worked in the Access Industry for 15 years initially as a salesman for the Youngman Group and then as a Training Manager. Simon worked with Pete at SGB developing and delivering both internal & external training. Simon has been with the business 18 months and has completed his exams for his NEBOSH qualification to enable him to take on the responsibility for all things health & Safety within the STS Business and to deliver a number of Health & Safety courses
